During her residency, she focused exclusively on surgeries involving the head, face, and neck, earning numerous accolades, including the Outstanding Resident Award from the University of Kansas Health System, the Excellence in Medical Student Teaching Award, and the Debra Park Ph.D. Award for Resident Clinical Research and the Jacqueline Holdcraft, M.D. Award for Clinical Excellence.
To further refine her expertise, Dr. Bayrak completed a highly regarded fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under Dr. Edward Farrior, a world-renowned surgeon and former president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS).
