Scott Carson – Founder & CEO of MRP
Scott Carson is the founder and CEO of MRP. He has more than 30 years of Healthcare Marketing, BD, Sales and Management experience. He was part of the team that built the eBay Healthcare Marketplace structure and strategy. He is a nationally recognized leader and speaker in driving sales through Internet Transactional Platforms. He founded US Medical, Inc., the first Internet distributor of new and pre-owned capital medical equipment to the healthcare industry. Started in his basement, US Medical emerged 5 years later as a member of the Inc. 500. Carson was named a finalist 2X in the Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award competition. In addition, 2X was named among the Inc. 500’s fastest growing companies. He is a Micro Enterprise of the Year recipient.
Dale Koop, PhD – Chief Scientific Officer at MRP
Dale Koop is the Chief Scientific Officer at MRP. He has a Ph.D. in Physics from Caltech, and is the author of more than 20 patents. Dale created the first commercial applications for laser skin resurfacing at Coherent, and for non-ablative-resurfacing at Cooltouch. He developed the Ultrapulse laser & scanner in 1991, and the first fractional laser in 1994. He was responsible for introducing products including Acupulse, M22, Sciton Skintyte, Sciton BBL, and Sciton ProFractional. He started the Coherent Aesthetics Business unit (now Lumenis), was a founding director of Thermage, GM at Sciton, CEO at Cooltouch & DEKA Inc.. Is currently founder of Perigee Medical, Cellviva, and Peribio. Dale has held board positions at ASLMS, ISCLS and many companies. He is an expert in biophysics, energy-tissue interactions, lasers, RF, ultrasound and product development.
Rishi Gandhi, MD, FAAD
Rishi Gandhi MD, a native of Dayton, Ohio, is a double-fellowship trained, board-certified dermatologist who specializes in skin cancer management with Mohs and Reconstructive Surgery, cosmetic surgical procedures, and minimally-invasive aesthetic enhancement. In addition, he also offers comprehensive care for a full range of medical dermatology conditions. Dr. Gandhi is dedicated to maintaining lifelong expertise and has established himself as a leader in the field of surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He continues hands-on training with leading experts from across the world. One of Dr. Gandhi’s greatest passion is education and he enjoys mentoring medical students and residents. He serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Wright State University, and also affiliated with Kettering Medical Center and Miami Valley Hospital.
