After her residency, she served as faculty at UT Southwestern before moving into private practice.

Dr. Culver is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She has made significant contributions to plastic surgery research, particularly in skin rejuvenation and scar optimization. She serves as a contributing editor for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal Open Forum and as a reviewer for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal.
